It looks like on May 1st, the FDA released a consumer advisory about Hydroxycut products. According to the report, the FDA has received about 23 reports in seven years about people having serious liver related problems around the time they were taking Hydroxycut.

•Hydroxycut Hardcore Drink Packets (Ignition Stix)
•Hydroxycut Max Drink Packets
•Hydroxycut Liquid Shots
•Hydroxycut Hardcore RTDs (Ready-to-Drink)
•Hydroxycut Max Aqua Shed
•Hydroxycut 24
•Hydroxycut Carb Control
•Hydroxycut Natural

Considering the number of people that take Hydroxycut with no side effects, I’m not sure if this should even be seen as an issue. My thoughts are that those people (which would be around three per year) may have had a pre-existing condition.
