Question by *Due*Dec*31st*: Has Anyone ever ……?
Tried Hoodia Balance?

Best answer:

Answer by MSC Lieu
WebMD says:
Hoodia: Lots of Hoopla, Little Science
Few studies support the promise of the South African appetite suppressant, but believers abound.

Just another gimmick for the sucker American overweight market. I wouldn’t advise taking any diet supplement that is so new to the market. Any questions? Ask a pharmacist or your doc. If they roll their eyes when you mention it, it’s probably not very good. They are pretty knowledgeable about what’s out there.

Question by sivree: is this a good way to loose weight? :s?
i’ve been drinking almost 2 litres of water a day.
taking a womans multi-vitamin (from GNC)
and also Accelis, the weight loss supplement, but its not a strong one, its more like just a boost.
as well as drinking one cup of green tea daily
and doing light exercising (a few crunches, stretches, dancing, walking everywhere instead of driving)
i eat mostly granola, oats, (like cheerios, mini wheats, nutrigrain, nature valley, once a week subway) but i’ve always eaten like that anyway.. its just what i prefer. its cleaner to me then big greasy burgers… which by the way i cut out completly..

it seems to be having an effect, but is this healthy enough?
how might i add to it so that it could be healthier, or more effective?

im 18, 5’7, 135 pounds now. my BMI is average, but i gained some weight i wanted to loose… roughy 10 pounds.
well i dont wannt go strictly health food, carrots and apples, im just wondering if what im eating is ENOUGH, in terms of ENERGY and my general well-being .. i know theres healthyier things out there (duh).
ooohh okay im getting it now …
like im in university, so i eat healtier than most people here lol thats all i know, but i get what your saying ..

Hello — I am reading really great things and hearing good things from friends about the Anoretix diet pill… my friend has lost 12 pounds in about 2 1/2 weeks… it seems great. Has anybody else tried this? Just trying to get some feedback before I purchase it today. its raved about on some of the unbiased diet pill sites. Anyone else??
i really dont have time to gather them up, however simly do a Google search for anoretix reviews (including consumer reports) and youll come up with tons, and most of the sites are NOT selling it, only a few sites i have found actually do sell it…

Question by : What is the name of the medication that is similar to xenical. But instead of blocking fats?

Since Diabetics aren’t allowed to eat a lot of carbohydrates

Answer by atstdriver
It’s called acarbose, and works by preventing enzymes from breaking down complex carbohydrates (which can’t be absorbed) into simple ones (which can be). It has some very unpleasant side effects because of that (diarrhea and lots of gas produced by the bacteria in the gut feasting on what you can’t absorb), so people don’t really like using it (think lactose intolerance but for basically every complex sugar as well).
